Root Canals
All teeth have a pulp chamber and canal/canals. These contain the blood vessels and nerves for your teeth. Often times when your tooth is infected, you will have a major toothache, the dreaded dull throbbing pain that doesn’t go away. This tooth requires a root canal, also known as endodontic treatment. This means a small hole is cut into the top of the tooth, the nerves, blood vessels, and dead/dying tissue is removed. Then each of the canals are filled. This seals the canals and prevents further infection.
