Implant Dentistry
When you have lost a tooth, for whatever reason, you will want to fix this gap as soon as possible to prevent problems with the adjacent and opposing teeth. One of the best ways is to replace the tooth is with an implant. An implant is a titanium screw placed in the jaw bone, much like the roots of the natural tooth. Once it integrates with the bone, we will place the abutment (dental hardware) and crown. This is the closest procedure to a natural tooth.
As a rough estimate, the whole process will take between four to nine months from start to finish. There are many factors involve and when we see you in our office, we will provide you with a personalized plan and timeline.
